Terms of Use & Agreement

Legitimate business payment automations — read these terms carefully. By accessing or using FundsVera, you enter into a legally binding agreement.

1. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and keep your account information up-to-date. FundsVera relies on the authenticity of the data you provide. Any false, misleading, or outdated information may lead to immediate suspension of your account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. FundsVera shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these requirements.

2. Privacy Policy

We collect and use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate. FundsVera implements industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Your continued use signifies agreement to our data handling practices.

Data processing notice: Personal data, BVN, NIN, business documents and transaction records are processed for KYC, fraud prevention, and payment automation in line with Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).
3. Prohibited Activities

FundsVera is strictly for legitimate business payment automations. You expressly agree NOT to use our platform for any fraudulent, illegal, or unethical activities including but not limited to:

  • Scams, fraud, or deceptive practices
  • Impersonation or identity theft
  • Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, or other fraudulent investment schemes
  • Money laundering or terrorist financing
  • Illegal gambling or betting operations
  • Sale of illegal goods or services
  • Any activity that violates applicable laws and regulations

Violation of this clause will result in immediate termination, reporting to relevant authorities (EFCC, NFIU, etc.), and potential legal action. FundsVera actively monitors transaction patterns and reserves the right to investigate any suspicious behavior.

4. Service Usage

You agree to use our services only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use our services in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the website. Any attempt to bypass security, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform infrastructure is strictly forbidden.

FundsVera may, at its sole discretion, impose limits on transaction volumes, API calls, or other metrics based on risk assessment and business type. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice, unless an urgent security concern arises.

5. Fees and Payments

Certain services may be subject to fees. You agree to pay all applicable fees as described in the specific service terms. All fees are exclusive of taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities, and you shall be responsible for payment of all such taxes. Fee schedules are subject to change upon 14 days’ notice via email or dashboard announcement.

Unpaid fees may result in suspension of services, and FundsVera may engage collection agencies or legal proceedings to recover outstanding amounts. Refund policies, where applicable, are governed by the specific service agreement.

6. Intellectual Property

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of FundsVera or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws. The FundsVera trademark, logo, and custom UI may not be used without written permission.

You retain ownership of any business data you submit, but you grant FundsVera a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that data to provide the services. Any feedback or suggestions you provide about the platform become the property of FundsVera.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms, especially related to prohibited activities. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or request deletion via support, subject to data retention obligations required by law (e.g., anti-money laundering regulations).

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall FundsVera, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to FundsVera during the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

9. Compliance with Laws

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations in your use of the FundsVera platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your business activities conducted through our platform are legal in your jurisdiction. This includes obtaining necessary licenses, permits, and adhering to tax obligations. FundsVera operates as a financial technology facilitator and does not provide legal advice. If you are uncertain about legal requirements for your business, you should consult with a qualified attorney.

International users must also comply with local economic sanctions, export controls, and anti-corruption laws. Any breach of compliance obligations may result in immediate account termination and reporting to regulatory bodies.
